The Mountain
Mt Hotham has become the best ski resort in Australia. Recent expansions have added three new triple chairlifts, opening up a staggering 25 runs. These lifts double the skiable terrain of Hotham! There are also plans for another new lift to be built in the near future. Stage one of an ambitious snowmaking system (4 million dollars) is also complete, with the entire system giving Hotham Australia's most advanced snow-making facilities and greatest capacity. This mountain's improvements just keep coming!!
Mt Hotham also has night skiing running at their 'Big D' facility every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday! For the ultimate skiing experience pick your night and ski under the stars (don't worry, the area is well lit!).
With so much happening at and around Hotham, you can't stop the shear excitement having an effect on you - it's contagious.
